About:

The Wander Studio (TWS) HELPS planet-minded brands in the outdoor industry inspire their audience TO BE ADVENTUROUS through visual content.

THE CHALLENGES

  • Maddy and Jeff have been photographers for years, but as they evolved, their brand remained the same.

  • The disconnect between who they wanted to work with, and what they were showing to the world, was causing them to be ghosted by their ideal client.

  • Every project was custom, meaning they re-invented the wheel with every client, causing burn out.

THE GOALS

  • To have a new logo that they could be proud of

  • Match their brand to their niche

  • Elevate their brand to show they were no longer influencers for hire, but professional photographers ready to be in long-term business partnerships.

  • Save time in their business, so a service audit was necessary to systematise, simplify and automate their processes.

CARVE THEIR OWN LANE

To be a leader in an industry, you need to offer something different. We discovered a gap in the market for authentic content, from businesses that weren’t as big as agencies, or as self-promotional as influencers.

POSITION THEM AS A STUDIO

To move them away from being ‘just another influencer’ to ‘serious brand photographers’, we needed to clarify who they were, what they do differently and the value of this to the client.

CREATE A BRAND EXPERIENCE

Once their positioning was established, it was time to give their brand a personality and look that was irresistible to their superfan. The brand taps into the desire for freedom, adventure and exploration.

THE Outdoor industry struggles to find consistent, inspiring and on-brand visuals.

Blake is The Wander Studio’s ideal client. At their job, Blake is envisioning new ways to inspire their customer to explore nature with their product. However, Blake is sick of working with influencers that don't follow briefs and agencies that over-charge, yet under-deliver. They just want to partner with someone who will get it done right, and for a good price.

For these reasons, Blake is excited to invest in The Wander Studio because they offer a one-stop shop, provide strategy to nail the brief, they want to build a long-term relationship, and the team has a background in advertising and finance, so they get the business side of it too.
